Here's the list of fixed things:
 - unit tests should run at 100% - they do now
 - wicket-ajax-debug-drag.js license issue should be resolved (done by Matej)
 - license headers in threadtest should be resolved (done by Eelco)
 - notice/license files in source/javadoc jars (done by Martijn)
 - MANIFEST.MF could be improved (done by Martijn, checked with IPMC)
 - rename packages to org.apache.wicket (done by many, thx!)
 - rename wicket namespace to http://wicket.apache.org (done)

Gwyn asked two questions, which were answered in this thread:
threadtest is included in the src tree otherwise it won't build. And
the license issues for threadtest were resolved.

IIUC this would solve the issues uncovered by the IPMC. Does anyone
else have something I missed? These should also be checked of course
when we release our new version.

I still am ambiguous about the wicket-examples HTML files and the
license headers. Should we or shouldn't we add those headers? They are
now not done, but will invoke questions again and again.

Stuff that needs to be done still:
 - popular request: release notes, readme in distribution (readme is
already there, needs some love, release notes need work)
 - make this a beta release?

So this leaves us with the age old question... What, when, and how?

I suggest waiting a bit longer for the package rename to settle. Even
though the tests run at 100%, this doesn't mean we didn't introduce
issues. Are the models also stabilized now (no more renames)?

With the current script I can cut a release pretty fast, so that
should not be a biggie.

Martijn
