Initial Comment:
i don't want to be a nuisance but since the release of Wicket 1.2 is
imminent and you have requested to submit bugs and issues, i've
decided to
put myself in a position of somewone who's just heard about wicket
and wants
to give it a try. So i decided to install all wicket libraries from scratch
and see what happens.
i think it feels great when you download something and it works out of
the
box.
Forget maven eclipse:eclipse, etc.

So here's what I did. I downloaded Eclipse
I then downloaded:
wicket-1.2-rc3
wicket-examples-1.2-rc3
wicket-extensions-1.2-rc3
wicket-spring-1.2-rc3
wicket-spring-examples-1.2-rc3
wicket-spring-annot-1.2-rc3
wicket-spring-annot-examples-1.2-rc3
wicket-auth-roles-1.2-rc3
wicket-auth-roles-examples-1.2-rc3
wicket-quickstart-1.2-rc3

i then unpacked all the above projects

i launched eclipse, installed all the projects in eclipse with new->new
project
most packages compiled but some needed extra *.jars
Once all needed jars were installed all compiled.

But some problems still remain:
1. ParseHTML.java in src/test/com/meterware.httpunit does not
compile
because WebTable.TableRow cannot be resolved to a type
2. unable to launch wicket-spring-examples-1.2-rc3 becauuse class
path
resource [applicationContext.xml] cannot be opened because it does
not exist
java.io.FileNotFoundException: class path resource
[applicationContext.xml]
cannot be opened because it does not exist
3. unable to launch wicket-spring for the same reason as 2 above

What i'd like to suggest is to have all the jars preinstalled in the
packages so that each project is ready to go. In fact most of the
needed
jars are already there, only 3/4 are still missing.

Being able to launch projects from eclipse would be great too.
In fact wicket-examples launches great, except for a
src/test/com/meterware.httpunit problem which does not actually
prevent you
from running the examples anyway.
