I agree here. For example I would like to see a bootstrap project for
people to instantly be able to start using wicket in jetty (for
example), eclipse with hibernate and hypersonic sql and (jwebunit)
unittests in place, having a maven build file ready. This would enable
many people to start building complex applications instantly.

With eclipse and many other tools there are kind of libraries of modules and
everyone is free to publish its own contribution to that list. I guess
sourceforge does not offer anything like that, correct? Any idea who does
offer it?
I don't understand what you are suggesting here (perhaps it is the late hour
;-). Do you mean that people can submit their contributions to the project
itself? What is this list you are referring to? Can you give an example?
