this reminds me that ICode should probably be moved into the thread package since CodeBroadcaster was removed. it seems there's really no point in the package anymore...

Hi all,

I - finally - made a start with a contrib project. It's not the contrib project we earlier talked about (you know, the one that would be open to all interested, but did not know how to set it up), but for the time being it can serve as the non-core project.

I think now is a good time to have a good look at the current core, and see if we can trim it from some unused code.

I prospose to move these components:

- FormComponentFeedbackBorder
- AbstractUploadForm, FileUploadForm
- PagedTableNavigator, SortableTableHeader, SortableTableHeaderGroup, SortableTableHeaders, TableNavigationIncrementLink, TableNavigationWithMargin, WicketComponentTree
- SignInPanel

Could you please vote for them?

And what about other parts of the API. For instance XmlConfiguration; it's not really used anywhere and I'm not even sure it works? Should we keep it?

So, what about some cleaning up just before we do the package rename operation...

Regards,

  Eelco
