yeah, it's this logic that makes it work:

Container container = this;
while (container != null)
{
if (container.handleUnknownComponentName(cycle, markupStream, tag) == true)
{
return;
}
container = container.findParent(Container.class);
}


makes sense now.  not sure what i was worried about...

one thought: wouldn't it be better to call it
Container.resolveComponentName()?

also, if ComponentNameResolver is an interface, it should be
IComponentNameResolver in wicket style.
