as far as I remember ... Gili intended to reparse the markup in order
to be able to remove the <table> tag from markup. IMO this not the
write approach to solve that problem. I sent him the source code of a
component which allows to disable to render the component's tags
(start and close). Thus you could make
<div>
<table id="wcket-...">
....
</table>
</div>
and the component attached to table woud either render its tags or not.
IMO there is no need to open up the API for that case. And as Eelco
mentioned, instead using <b> you should use CSS.
