yes i don't get that either currently
because if i look into the .settings dir. There you have 2 files. Where if i look into them you see
code formatting options. So it should be shared by default without the xml file.

Did you import the xml file? If not can you look at the project settings and then Java Code Style tab?
There you should see the right settings.

Is it correct that I just have to update from CVS and press F5 within
Eclipse? Or do I need to load the xml file provided? If the first one
is true, what is the xml file good for?

One more Eclilpse / Maven question. "maven eclipse" updates my example
settings, but it also removes the source path which I manually
attached to wicket*.jar. Does anyone know if there is means that I
don't have to re-set it manually every time?

PS: I personelly prefer spaces because of the problems you described
(but I can live with tabs as well)

Please update youre CodeFormatter in eclipse (the one i checked in again)
because you now uses spaces as indent. And if i find one thing very
horrible then it is that.
And if i press tab now to ident then i go to a different position then
it should.

soon, i think...
what's left to do guys?
here's my short list:

- i want to review and maybe rework the error decorator pattern in the
form code and possibly FeedbackMessages as well
- want to update javadocs more, especially with all the refactoring
i've been doing...
- want to sort members appropriately in each class and format each
file in the core using our new style settings
- i just looked into the session transiency issue and i really don't
think it matters if the pagefactory is not transient. it should only
be a few bytes since it has no serializable fields.
- i think we need to test autolink a bit first, but it looks like
juergen has checked in some code (one test doesn't work for me...
although my changes may have broken it... so juergen and i might have
to talk...)

anything else that anyone wants done before beta 2?

I'm looking forward to a stable build to play around with. Can
you guys update the example code and release an external beta?
