FValidateTextField is part of the wicket.contrib.markup.html.form.fvalidate package, where I have a go at integrating Javascript validation into Wicket components. It uses the Javascript library fValidate: http://www.peterbailey.net/fValidate/
I'm not done yet, though most of it allready works. I created an example in the wicket-examples project with servlet application name: /fvalidateforminput (not in index yet), package 'wicket.examples.fvalidate'.
I have been working on this not because I need it myself (server side validation usually is just fine for the projects I work on), but because I think in order to make Wicket succesfull, we should have at least an example of how Javascript validation could be done. In that respect, it would be great if people that do (want to) use javascript validation could have a look at it, and start a discussion about it's usability here.
