You can create a snapshot by typing (on the root of your wicket project): maven jar:install-snapshot.

The snapshot will then be installed in your local repository, and - as it is newer than any version it can find online - it will be the one used as the snapshot by other projects.

i'm changing the QuickStart application and it won't run without the latest wicket core jar.

also, i was thinking that maybe the quickstart application should be hardwired to a particular build so people can get going without "issues"...
