Here's a really quick guide for you: - unzip the directory and put it in template_resources directory in your maven-genapp-plugin.jar (located somewhere in the maven directory - name may not be accurate), next to web-struts and other such directories - open a cmd/shell, create an empty dir, open it and type "maven genapp" (must have MAVEN_HOME ev_var set) - now maven will ask you for the name of the application, the id (its good to use the name of the directory you have just created, otherwise some versions of eclipse may have problems with eclipse plugin) and the package name - after genapp is complete, you can run "maven test", "maven war", "maven eclipse", etc.
After that, you get a project with needed libraries and a valid web.xml. The URL for wicket servlet is the name of your application (one you supplied to genapp). I will check if there is a possibility of using the template without having to modify the maven jars. I'm pretty sure there should be such possibility...
