seems like our validation discussion really helped.
if there are places in wicket where you find you are writing similar code a lot, please tell me about it or even just bug it.
in general, if something feels like drudge work, it can probably be improved. ideally, it should take remarkably little code in the end to write wicket applications. that's the goal. if you're stuggling with something, there either is or should be a better way.
