I've just committed the changes for wicket:id and setStripXXX. In summary wicket:id="xxx" replaces wicket="xxx" and id="wicket-XXX". Both old versions are no longer valid.
setStripComponentId() has been removed. setStripWicketTags() now removes wicket:id as well. Wicket examples test cases currently fail due to the NAMESPACE_ERR error thrown by getDOM / cloneNode(). Some css styles depending on the id attribute might be wrong, because I simply replaced id="wicket- with wicket:id=" and thus effectively removed the id attribute.
