Gili,

Wicket-core is pretty crowded right now, and we would like to stay focussed on delivering 1.0. I think adding you right now would kind of add to the chaos more than it would solve it. I also think it is important to keep the core team small in order to avoid longlasting conflicts/ discussions etc.

However, if you have concrete fixes, you could attach them (or a diff) to issues in the issue database. That would help a lot.

We're in the process of starting up a new contrib project. When that's done (probably this week), I would be fine giving you rw rights to that one.

My 2c,

Eelco

Guys,

I want to get active in this project. I have a lot of programming experience behind me and my project depends heavily on Wicket's progress so I want to get more proactive. I am requesting CVS read/write access, mainly so I can fix some of the bugs I have filed. I have no desire to make grandious API changes (i.e. the core stuff remains your domain). I just want to contribute.

Do you think we can make this happen?

Gili
