i think we do not support 1.3. 1.4 is the minimum.

Sure, I'll help this weekend.
All projects that were in contrib are now in wicket-stuff, so that's done. Did not check the building etc. yet.
Do we even support JDK1.3? I think we settled on 1.4. I'm sure Wicket doesn't compile on 1.4, at least not because we use wrapped exceptions a lot.
Could we make a list of JDK's and servlet engines we support? At least, we can test Jetty (4.x, 5.x), Tomcat (4.1.x and 5.0.x) and Resin (2.1.x. and 3.x). And you're deploying your app on Websphere right?

Gentlemen,
I would like to complete the following before we ship and publicize 1.0-RC1:
- finish all articles on Wicket : models, etc.
- create full projects on http://wicket-stuff.sf.net, including:
o websites,
o released versions
o working build process for each project
o project charter for allowing new projects to be submitted.
o docs for the components on display
- fix the immediate bugs currently open on 0.9.19-beta, which are on
the fix list for RC1
- make sure all non-core projects in the Wicket CVS are successfully
moved to Wicket-Stuff
This implies that we aren't going to ship tonight as was the plan earlier. Jonathan and I think it will be best to postpone until next tuesday. The release will be created this weekend, and I need more people to test the release (i.e. test all aspects work: building from source using ant and maven, deploying the examples in more than Jetty, on more than one VM).
Are there any volunteers for testing or creating the test scripts needed (e.g. perform source build from distribution using IBM JDK 1.3, deploy in WebSphere 3.5?)
