[Wicket-develop] Out of memory/cpugrind problem found (I think)

Just a note to say I think i've found the problem mentioned in my thread in wicket-user (and I posted the details over there). It seems to be a pretty serious problem (at least for people using windows, and possibly some unix users as well), which I suspect warrants an rc2 asap.

Basically, in file/directory paths one or both of the characters \ and <space> appear to be giving wicket fits.
