Ok, this really sucks... Can't you guys configure an anonymous read-only account on the developer CVS (SSH connection if I remember correctly)? If the anonymous CVS server is more than 24 hours out of sync with the SSH one it really makes it difficult to coordinate with the developers.

Probably the developer CVS is not synchronized with anonymous. I have successfully built a SNAPSHOT this morning. If you need it, you can point your maven installation to http://wicket.sf.net/maven and use a snapshot dependency.
