Ok, I found some documentation on localization strings for feedback panels in the Javadoc for AbstractValidator. I did so by stepping through the code, tracking down the problem back to AbstractValidator and then reading its Javadoc.

May I humbly suggest that this is first time that wicket-examples failed for me. It would be nice if we had a step-by-step explanation of what is going on in this code (and explicitly bring up the properties file and what it is used for) because quickly glancing through the code this isn't obvious. The problem with examples is that I "walk through" the most typical usage scenerio and exceptional cases (which trigger the use of the properties file) fall through the cracks. I simply did not notice them.

Anyway, my bad. Is there a way we can "step through" the form example in wiki or in our user manual? It is one of the more complex examples.
