I'm +1 for extensions - this is the natural place for powerful
components that we want to support as part of the Wicket release cycle.
I think core should be focused on just the essential APIs that make
Wicket work and that map directly to simple html elements. However, if
we are starting to put more stuff in extensions then should we perhaps
be looking at a binary distribution that contains both core and
extensions as a standard package (but keeping them as separate jars for
use from maven or if you don't want the overhead of the extensions).

For me it would be either core or extensions, or just keep it an
example; I don't want to support another stuff project myself.

Btw, where should we put the DatePicker when it is done? Core or
extensions? Personally I feel that such a component will be very
commonly used, so I would argue for putting it in core.
The same question came to my mind... It would be /really/ cool to
have more 'complex' components out of the box. It would enlarge the
conceptual surface area though (quoted from the vision document).
I am not sure which option I'm favouring: adding such javascript
components to:
- core,
- extensions or
- stuff
