Only thing I want is to be able to switch the MostRecentlyUsedMap to
something, that would provide me the possibility to decide, which pages
become stale.
I hope this is not too flexible :)
Btw. what do you mean by page navigation options? Is there a thread or
feature request I could take a look at? Sounds interesting to me :)

Summary: Introduce a factory for MostRecentlyUsedMap
Initial Comment:
This would allow the user to plug his own
implementation of most recently used map. So the user
cold implement his own stale page policy (including
sticky pages, page priority, etc.) instead of simply
removing the last added pages from page map.
it could something like this.
public Interface IMostRecentlyUsedMapFactory {
Map createMostRecentlyUsedMap();
}
and the default implementation
public class MostRecentlyUsedMapFactory implements
IMostRecentlyUsedMapFactory {
Map createMostRecentlyUsedMap() {
return new MostRecentlyUsedMap
(session.getApplication().getSettings()
.getMaxPages());
}
}
The factory should be possible to set using
Application.getSettings
().setMostRecentlyUsedMapFactory or something similiar.
This would't affect any current wicket application.
