First of all, something like "Wicket in Action" would be great :)
First priority documentation needed for wicket is, I think, a tutorial
for a complete application which goes beyond a classic form input and
listing scenario. Session management (if any?), thread safety, other
best practices, Spring integration and custom component development are
important to me.
Any volunteer applications out there in Wicket land? Hand over that
application and it will be a tutorial before you know it!
Also a tutorial which goes with comparing Wicket's
component oriented approach to classic MVC based approach would be
great.
Sounds less like a tutorial and more like a high-level conceptual doc to me.

I think it would be good if people were to specify EXACTLY what kind
of
things we'd like to have in terms of documentation. I mean, there are
already several basic tutorials on the Wicket site. What kind of
things
are missing -- once we know that we can work out how to provide the
necessary docs.
