if you hold a reference to a page (serialized or not) and that page is
dropped out of the pagemap
on the long run. Then it should be added back to it when you set it
again as a responsepage..
private final void respond() throws ServletException
{
// Get any page that is to be used to respond to the request
final Page page = getResponsePage();
if (page != null)
{
// add/touch the response page in its pagemap.
page.getPageMap().put(page); <<<<

Hi guys,
I asked for this a long time ago but that conversation lost focus, so im
going to try again:
I would like to be able to serialize a page and stash it somewhere. Later I
would like to use this page even if it is no longer in the pagemap. This is
pretty reasonable, after all a page is just an object and it is completely
self contained. Currently this is not possible because of how the page
associates itself with the pagemap on construction, etc.
I don't know enough about the internals to go meddle in this myself.
Just wandering if someone has time to do this pre 1.1. (And yes I will write
up an RFE if this makes sense).
Thanks,
-Igor
