There isn't any way for a component to know about the tag it is
attached
on until it is actually rendered right? That is a problem for me now
that I am working on the date picker, and need to know about attributes
of a component before it is rendered. I think it would be a VERY
valuable addition to Wicket if we would be able to get (immutable)
markup information of components before they are rendering. Like having
a call back method onAttachMarkup or something. Any ideas on this
issue?
