when path changes that means that you made a new page in youre coude or if it was a bookmarkable page through the page factory.
so if you do
setResponsePage(new MyPage())
when a link is clicked or a form is submitted you will get a new path because that is a new page.

If you go to the same page after form submit then the path parameter will not change. See for example the forminput example.

I see... But what about my third question? How can the
URL change (the path parameter) on every request?

Tranks,
David.
