Guys, before venturing into subclipse and tortoiseSVN, a sanity check with the commandline tools from the subversion community would be the first step forward. svn:mime-type should not really be needed for subversion, other than it allows it to return a correct Content-Type header from http access, which is nice but not entirely necessary. svn:eol-style is a lot more important for people who edit text files. Without it you will end up with a mess in the diffs. I have no exact cue on how SF has set up subversion, but I would assume (considering their volume), that they use the Apache Web server frontend. From the look of your revision numbers, they are apparently setting up one repository per project, with its own full config (which would be cool) including the hooks. I would be surprised if they did something exceptionally beyond that, in which case no special hooks would be required. If I get a pointer where I can peek into the stuff you have, I can probably determine more. Also, a temporary commit right to an isolated directory would be good to verify whether it is a server or client problem. Contact me on ICQ #7643698 for another 2hours today and from 0100 UTC tomorrow and onwards, if you feel you need some assistance.
