[Wicket-develop] IMPORTANT: Wicket 1.2 end game

All,

Here's the plan for the 1.2 end game. Eelco, Johan and I were together last night and apart from several nice tapas in a blondes filled tapas bar, we also discussed our end game. We fixed all outstanding bugs, except for a couple of deployment/documentation issues.

The end game is as follows: we release the final release candidate, 1.2-rc4 tonight and wait until thursday to see if there are any serious issues popping up. If not, then rc4 will be our 1.2 final release.

To make this so, I have created a branch for 1.2 where all bug fixes for 1.2 should go into. This branch can be found under /branches/WICKET_1_2 on our subversion repository.

ALL CHANGES that need to go into 1.2 final, have to be performed on that branch. Trunk will now be the focus for our next major release.

If everything goes well, we will be able to ship 1.2 next thursday.
