Category: core Group: 1.2 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Yoav Landman (ylandman) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: wicketAjaxOnStateChange broken under IE7 Initial Comment: IE7 supports the native XMLHttpRequest object (see: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/01/23/516393.aspx). This causes "if (window.XMLHttpRequest)" to be evaluated as true on IE7, and then raises an undefined object exception for "DOMParser". I managed to work around this by reversing the order of evaluation: if (window.ActiveXObject) { xmldoc = transport.responseXML; } else if (window.XMLHttpRequest) { var parser = new DOMParser(); xmldoc = parser.parseFromString(responseAsText, "text/xml"); } which is using the legacy ActiveX implementation of XMLHttpRequest on IE7. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684975&aid=1519131&group_id=119783 Using Tomcat but need to do more?
