I tried to use the following code: getLocalizer().getString("my_control.null", this) from inside a panel and I had panel.properties file with my_control.null='--' line in it. This did not work, because wicket tries to use 'null' property from wicket/Application.properties
Do you guys think that having 'null' property (which really belongs to drop down class or list class) in Application.properties is not necessary? At least you should rename it to nullItem / nullValidItem or something like this.
