I introduced IRequestTargetInterceptor two weeks ago as a more generic
approach to requests targets that want to override/ veto any requests
to set a request target current after them. If you feel that whole
pattern is not needed for the ajax handling, we can ditch it, as it's
not a feature we would need for anything else.
