I am about to introduce JSR168 for a project I'm working on. So that's a nice opportunity to build on support for portlets in Wicket (and makes building in Wicket support short term now ;)).

Nicolas, or anyone reading this, do you have experience with the open source portal servers out there? Anything you could recommend? Currently I like the looks of Liferay, especially since they now support the 'light weight' (non-EJB) model. However, GridSphere, Gluecode, Stringbeans and Jetspeed are alternatives...

Regards,

Eelco

Nope, we don't support that at this time. I'm not sure if anyone has any portlet experience on this list, but I guess that's where it should start.

I was on my longer term todo-list anyway, so I'll file an RFE for it. Any feedback (preferably comments on the RFE) on it's usage etc. would be appreciated.

Hi,
I wondered if Wicket supports the developpement of portlets (JSR-168)... I've looked on devel and user lists and could not find any information regarding this topic.
