Actually, before even starting to integrate JSCalendar I sent a note to the author whether he had objections etc. Got no answer unfortunately.

A beginning to have my doubt whether the author has plans to maintain his project at all, as most bugs here http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=544285&group_id=75569&func=browse seem to be open for a long time, while it probably involves not much work from his side.
