Hi,
Can I do the markup inheritence trick as described on Phil's weblog
<http://jroller.com/page/pKulak?entry=markup_inheritance_with_wicket>
with any component and not just pages? Or do I need to use a Border?
I am still working on my menu :) and I want to introduce different types
of MenuItems. The content of the different menu item types is quite
different but they share some layout and a position in a list
(http://www.theatergroepzout.nl to see what I mean). So I'd like to have
MenuItem as base class with some markup, and SimpleMenuItem and
PlayMenuItem as sub-classes. Each with more detailed markup.
It may be interesting to know that my ultimate goal (somewhere next year
at the rate I'm going) is to make the mentioned site dynamic with some
content management component.
Regards,
Erik.
