i don't think ibm can wait long before releasing a J2EE 5 websphere.
Because of the big hype thats surronds j2ee5 now.
So then they will have also a jdk 1.5 ready by that time (somewhere next
year)
Or else ibm will linger behind all other major App servers vendors.
Historically, IBM always releases their Windows JDKs one or two years
after the Sun ones. I wouldn't expect Websphere to support J2EE 5 for at
least a year and a half after JDK 5.0 has been released by Sun.
Again, this might sound silly but IBM always does this sort of stuff.
They spend an insane amount of time on QA (which makes me laugh because
I have always experiened more crashes with IBM's JDK than Sun's).
