I haven't followed the discussions on this subject with too much
attention, Johan and Juergen did, but this is my take on it:
- the number of parameters going into the wicket servlet is less -> all
information that can be retrieved from the session or the lack of a
session will be constructed by wicket
- more stable bookmarkable URL's
- no version number in your homepage url after the first construction of it
There has been some work on the prettier URL's stuff. But it is very
experimental, highly volatile and scheduled to become final in 1.2.
Before that, it might not even be there.
