There are only instructions on IDE related things (on how to get the
kickstart running). The Wicket examples itself are a great way to look
how things might be done. And you might even want to check out (pun
intended, there is no download yet, so use CVS) the wicket-cdapp example
(available from wicket stuff cvs).
I think the current number of examples are already a very good source
and enough to get you started. We should make the CD App available as a
download, and combine the examples src/bin distributions into one. But I
think an example of modifying the examples is draining our focus too much.
You could scan the blogs for more information on creating apps. There is
already enough information available for reading a day or so ;-)

Must have been imagining...
One of the factors that made me give Wicket a try was the fact that I
could download a quickstart project, and it just worked.
I think it would be great to have a guide that would show potential
users how they can, with a few simple modifications, add to or change
the apps behaviour and presentation.

Hi,
I have the quickstart and examples projects up and running.
When I downloaded them (a few days ago) I believe I saw some
instructions on how to start modifying the apps to learn wicket
features. Now I can't find these instructions, and begin to doubt I
really did see them. Do they exist?
