I use <wicket:remove> around relative paths to the CSS in the webapp
directory. So this looks like:
<html>
<head>
<style type="text/css" src="style/style.css" />
<wicket:remove>
<style type="text/css" src="../../../../../../webapp/style/style.css" />
</wicket:remove>
The same can be done for JavaScript libraries that aren't part of a component.
