SourceForge.net CCA'06 awards
Wicket was one of the finalists for the
SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards (CCA) 2006, thanks to your support. Yesterday the winners were announced and here's the result:

Unfortunately we didn't win the award in the development category. The miscategorized GAIM took the award.
Thanks for voting, and hopefully we'll be able to sweep the competition next year!
Frappr map update
Our community is growing and it shows on our Frappr map. 65 members already have put their marker on our community map. Check it out and if you haven't joined, you might want to do so. You can find our map here:

Wicket 1.2 status
Our recently released beta3 got quite a few downloads the day it was released (>700). This is really great and it helps our testing efforts considerable, as you probably have seen from the bug reports and issues generated on the mailinglist. We really appreciate your efforts and we hope to get the bugs fleshed out soon and release our first RC over the weekend.
URL Mounting tip
JavaLobby has put another Wicket tip online, this time regarding the usage of URL mounting. We love these tips and hope
R.J. Lorimer will write many more in the future. You can read the article here:
