Without the // I think?

So instead of

    alert('Yes, I am XHTML friendly');
    alert('quotes ", less than <, and ampersand & used in this javascript

it's

<![CDATA[
function isXhtmlFriendly() {

}
 ]]>

Or did you have a special reason to include those slashes?
