Firstly, please excuse my lack of background. I'm coming from years of PHP development and I'm attempting to use the Wicket framework to write a simple web application. This is my first entrance into Servlets and Wicket and is further complicated because I've never used any of the Java IDEs.
I'm having a terribly challenging time trying to figure out where Wicket needs to be in relation to my sample application and where all of this needs to be in relation to Jetty so that I can run the app. I have looked all over the Wicket sites and done many different Google sessions attempting to get my simple app from "Ready to deploy" to "Deployed" in Jetty and cannot seem to find anything to bridge the gap.
