how can i tell if a Page is bookmarkable or not?

What you could do is is something like this:

override onComponentTag of Form
do the super call
and then do this:

tag.put("action", abookmarkableurl);

and then that bookmarkable url will be pointing to a page. That handles the form submit.

    hmm, can you explain more? the class Form uses some encoding of a
    listener when it renders the action part. should i just override that?
