This is a pretty serious bug if you ask me. Because the browser
does send something to the server and param1=¶m2=
is definitly something else then nothing..
I don't think it makes much sense, given I was using a beta and the
problem was fixed in subsequent versions. Looks like a glitch that
was solved, even though I didn't find anything mentioning that in
Jetty's Jira. However yes, it's nasty.
