this is just a matter of models. if your link's onclick can get to the model
that feeds the textbox in another tab then its easy.
for example a simple bean kept at page level, then all tabs can feed their
models as property models off this bean.

AjaxSubmitLink and a regular TextField..
What Im trying to do is click this link and update a field placed on other
tab with the value inserted in the TextField...
