this is how mounted page parameters are put onto the url :)

/param1/value1/param2/value2

also see
IndexedParamUrlCodingStrategy

that does

/value1/value2

and QueryStringUrlCodingStrategy

that does...you guessed it...
?param1=value&param2=value2

you can roll your own, see how the above two are implemented
