Johan, has an excellent point, but we too have a pre wicket 1.3 app so i guess i'll have to make a branche for that app anyhow if i want to replace or old security mechanisme. I don't think it will be much work to backport to 1.2.6. Let me know if you plan on staying with wicket 1.2.x or upgrade to 1.3
