Very easy to do. There are many ways but an easy one is to have an html tag such as div, that will correspond to either the login form or signed in text and give it a wicket:id . During processing you would check to see if the user is signed in. If not then you would add an appropriate object to the page (corresponding to wicket:id) such as a custom panel that would correspond to a login form. If they are logged in you would add maybe another custom object or panel that indicated some welcome message.
