Here's my 2c: > I think the BPM feature would be a nice addition.
I'm curious to learn what you would think that should look like. I've heard of a couple of projects that used/ integrated Wicket + jBPM (likely the default of SEAM) but everyone might have different ideas on it. How would you want to use such integration as an end-user? > I don't know what's involved with a Wicket and Seam or SWF integration, but > my experience tells me that it could be quite beneficial, especially for > workflow intensive applications. Not so sure about EJB3 tho :P Not sure. You can read what I think about this at http://chillenious.wordpress.com/2006/07/16/on-page-navigation/ Basically, I believe more in workflow engines that stand on themselves, such as jBPM, than things like SWF that are build around the idea of user interface workflow. The only exception would be wizards, but then again, the wizard component in the extensions projects functions fine without externalized flow descriptions. For the record, jBMP is one of my favorite open source projects, even though it's been a while since I've used it. It would be great to have a project that integrates with (j)BMP, via Seam or independently. I'm just curious what you and others think it should look like.
