Thanks for the comments. The bug in the lua testsuite is fixed in trunk, i haven't merge it into this yot though.
I really want to work on this, but there are > 12000 lines of code still to be reviewed and I feel a little burned out right now. So do not expect much progress from me with this - maybe on the weekend.
