Hi all! *TL;DR*: Researchers from the Wikimedia community are invited to participate in feedback sessions to evaluate a prototype of a new version of the Wikimedia Developer Portal. If you’re interested in taking part, please fill in the study's recruitment form <https://wikimediafoundation.limesurvey.net/695974>.
This is Sarai Sanchez <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:SSanchez-WMF>, from the Product Design team at the Wikimedia Foundation. As some of you might know, the API Platform team has been working to evolve Wikimedia’s Developer Portal <https://developer.wikimedia.org/>. The vision for this new iteration of the site is to centralize API documentation and offer a unified REST API sandbox (you can find more information on the project’s page <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Developer_Portal/Version_2>). We’ve implemented a prototype that reflects the structure and functionality of the new portal, and we’re now looking to evaluate it at this early stage with prospective users. That is, researchers from the Wikimedia community who have any level of experience using either Wikimedia bulk data sources or APIs. We're organizing 60-minute feedback sessions. No preparation is needed, and participants who complete the session will receive a digital thank-you gift. If you'd like a sneak peek and want to weigh in on the design of the new Developer Portal, please sign up using this recruitment form <https://wikimediafoundation.limesurvey.net/695974> or reply directly to me via email at [email protected]. Thank you so much for your attention and for considering participating! Kind regards, -- Sarai _______________________________________________ Wiki-research-l mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
