Hi John, It appears to be mostly when saving pages. I will click "Save" on a page and I have waited up to 3 or 4 minutes for a save to process, while that's taking it's time I open a second tab in Firefox and browse the wiki, although the pages at the time are slow loading as well.
After a few minutes the speed comes good again for me and I have no issues for a few hours (or rest of the day), so far it hasn't happened since I first e-mailed but I'll keep an eye out for it.
