Hi Timothy.... let me see if this answers it...
When you set a skin (other than the one labeled "default") using the
"Admin Options" drop down in the skin preference, it sets the value of
AdminSkin article. If a user has never set a preference, they'll see
what you choose in the Admin Option choice. If they have set a
preference... and "see custom" is checked... they'll see the Admin
Option choice. If they have set a preference and don't have "see custom"
checked, they'll see their preference.
So, if you select Sapphire in the Admin Options drop-down, users should
see Sapphire in both of these cases:
- they've never set a skin preference
- they've set a skin preference but have "see custom" checked.
If you're seeing something different than that, please let me know. To
see the effect of someone who has never set a preference, you can clear
your cookies.
