Looks like openads.wikia.com is being served from the Amazon EC2 cluster. (Not a part of the colo) Pings are being discarded so I can't say for certain about latency, but it seems like part of the problem...
What all is served on that domain? I am logged in and therefore see no ads. The Wikia spotlights have already loaded, yet it continues to read from there... Can whatever content this is be pre-fetched or cached? Also Google Analytics is taking some time to load, but I know exactly what that is for and it is unavoidable... This shouldn't prevent you from clicking save as the page content should be fully loaded before the analytics javascript is triggered. Is this not correct? I would hate to see content waiting on Google to finish its processing. -- Jamie Hari Editor-in-Chief Marvel & DC Database Projects On 12/20/07, Chad Lupkes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I love the skins.
